Fillings

A filling is what a dentist uses to restore a decayed or damaged portion of a tooth.

It is used when the area of decay is small to moderate in size and depends on a solid portion of tooth around it to support and hold it in place.

Dental fillings can be done in tooth color porcelain composite or in silver amalgam.
