Our Hygienists
Paula
Paula has been at Legacy Family Dental since graduating from hygiene school in 1998. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, and an Associate of Science from Wayne County Community College. When not working, Paula spends her time taking care of her daughters.
Kim
Kim has been with Legacy Family Dental for 27 years as a Dental Hygienist. She received her associate’s degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene at Wayne County Community College in 1996, then went on to get her bachelor's at U of D Mercy in 2003. Kim also received advanced training in Local Anesthesia from U of D Mercy. When Kim is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two children, Isabella and Enzo. She also enjoys going to her children’s swimming competitions.
Laura
Laura has worked at Legacy Family Dental for 33 years. She graduated from U of D Mercy in 1989 and received her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1992. She is also certified in Local Anesthesia through U of D Dental School in 2015. Laura has two daughters and has been married to her husband, Floyd, for 23 years. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, working out and spending time with her friends and family. She feels very fortunate to be a part of such an amazing dental practice.
Alyssa
Alyssa graduated from University of Detroit Mercy in 2015, where she received her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. She is licensed to administer both local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. In her off time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick, Daughter, Olivia, and cockapoo, Maizey. She also enjoys sports, especially softball and football. In the summer, she likes to spend time with her family at the lake house in Oscoda.
Jodi
Jodi grew up in Saline, MI. She received her Dental Hygiene degree from Ferris State University in 1990. Jodi has three kids from a previous marriage and a blended family with her husband which includes three grandchildren. In Jodi’s spare time, she enjoys her pets, gardening, thrifting, crafts, and attending her grandchildren’s soccer games and dance recitals. She has held a strong professional work ethic in her 34 years of practicing dental hygiene and takes pride in providing the best possible care. Jodi joined Legacy Family Dental in 2023, and says she feels a sense of family and genuine warmth from her fellow coworkers and patients alike. She is very happy to have found Legacy Family Dental and proud to say it is her new dental home.
