Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry is used in treating a wide range of dental and cosmetic problems from cavities to gum disease. Hard tissue lasers are used to repair cavities, remove old fillings and prepare teeth for bonding. Soft tissue lasers are used on the gum tissue. Lasers are an alternative to the common hand-held scalpel, drills or other tools. Lasers can even be used for teeth whitening.

The biggest benefit of laser dentistry is it can reduce pain and minimize the use of anesthetic. Dental procedures can become much more comfortable for you! Dental lasers have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration and are safe for both adults and children.
